Term classes and holiday programmes

Applies to Term Classes and Holiday Programmes

Class Structure & Supervision

• Maximum class size: 10 per coach (except preschool).
• Preschool classes (ages 2–3 & 3–4): caregiver supervision required. Max 14 per coach.
• Classes for ages 4+ do not require caregiver supervision.
• Siblings may attend satellite venues but must be supervised, remain off equipment, and not disrupt classes.
• At Hobsonville, only enrolled participants may be in the gym unless settling a child.

Behaviour & Safety

• Eating during class is not permitted.
• Caregivers must follow coach instructions and venue signage.
• Xpressions may remove participants or caregivers who disrupt classes or breach safety rules.

Enrolment & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed only once full term fees are paid.
• Payments via Stripe incur a 2.9% + $0.30 NZD transaction fee.
• Cheque or cash payments must be noted during online registration.
• Family discount: 10% off the lowest fee when booking 3+ classes per term.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation more than 2 weeks before start: full refund.
• Cancellation within 2 weeks of start: refund less $25.00 admin fee.
• No refunds or credits for non-attendance, change of mind, or public holidays.
• If Xpressions cancels a class or programme, a refund, credit, or rescheduled session will be offered in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Public Holidays

• No classes on public holidays. Fees are not adjusted unless required under the CGA.

Risk & Liability

• Participation involves inherent risks.
• Xpressions takes all reasonable care but cannot accept responsibility for injury or loss except where caused by our negligence.
• Participants and caregivers must follow safety instructions at all times.

Media & Promotion

• Photos/videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
• Separate media consent will be requested at registration. Parents may opt out at any time.

Holiday Programmes

• Available for children aged 5–13 years.

Privacy & Data

• Personal information is collected and stored securely in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020.
• Data is used only for membership management, communication, and safety.
• Information may be shared with Gymnastics NZ for affiliation purposes.
• Parents/guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data.
