These classes provide an engaging and supportive environment for adults with some fitness backgrounds - whether you are a former gymnast, cross-trainer, or gym goer. Beyond the physical benefits, adult recreational gymnastics conditioning fosters body awareness, stress relief, and community, making it an engaging alternative to traditional fitness programs.
Science shows that regular movement, especially strength and balance work, can slow or even reverse many physical declines associated with aging. Flexibility and coordination are equally vital, helping us move freely, avoid injury, and maintain independence.
And for those with a spark of curiosity or playfulness, there’s room to explore from floor to trampolines and other equipment, offering a touch of fun too!

Adult Progression
Adult Progression is a gymnastics conditioning class offering a dynamic and enjoyable way for experienced gymnasts or cheerleaders aged 18+. If you are looking to maintain your connection to the sport, continue to develop your skills, build strength and sustain your fitness, this is for you.
Classes focus on functional strength training, mobility, flexibility, and coordination, using gymnastics and conditioning drills.
These are term-based classees, with sessions that typically include warm-ups, mobility work, strength and core training, and skill-based conditioning. The emphasis is on personal progress, safe training, having fun and building confidence, or even pushing yourself to master new skills.

Adult Essentials
Adult Essentials is a welcoming gymnastics class for all adults 30+ seeking to stay strong, steady, and flexible. You don't need any gymnastics experience. If you are looking for an encouraging space where movement is seen as a lifelong tool for health, strength and resilience, give our classes a go and have some fun!
Each session blends functional exercises with conditioning to support strength, joint health and posture, while honouring individual experience and ability.
Adult Essentials is a weekly option strength-building to maintain muscle mass as we age plus support bone density; balance training to improve coordination; plus all-important flexibility to maintain range of motion and ease in daily movement.

No. These classes are built for adults with some general fitness background (ex-gymnasts, cross-trainers, gym-goers), but skills are scaled to your level and the focus is personal progress.
Adult Progression is more dynamic and conditioning-based, and is for those who want to keep up their gymnastics skills into adulthood. The focus is on strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination, and gymnastics-style drills using apparatus. Adult Essentials is for older adults who want to use gymnastics to sustain their health and fitness as they age. No gymnastics experience is necessary.
Typically: warm-up + mobility + strength/core + skill-based conditioning. Depending on your previous experience, you might work on things like handstands, cartwheels, swings, balance drills, and jumps—always scaled for adults.
Yes—depending on the session and your ability, you may use equipment like bars, beams, trampolines, rings, and floor space (without the pressure to “perform”).
Currently, Adult Essentials classes cost $15 per session. Adult Progression classes are term based. Please enquire via email or call us for the next available term dates and fees.
